Christian has over 14 years of experience in advising clients across the Gulf Cooperation Council and Middle East, including corporates, government-related entities, private equity and credit funds and bilateral and syndicate banks, on some of the region’s most complex restructuring challenges.
His expertise spans independent business reviews, debt restructuring and refinancing, and the development of detailed short-term cash flow projections, business plans and contingency strategies. Known for his pragmatic approach, Christian consistently delivers tailored in-court and out-of-court restructuring solutions to help clients overcome financial and operational distress.
Before joining Kroll, Christian served as Director on the Middle East Business Restructuring Services team at PwC. He led high-profile mandates across the region. Prior to that, he worked with EY-Parthenon’s Turnaround and Restructuring Team in Dubai. Earlier in his career, Christian worked in banking in Lebanon.

Leading the out-of-court settlement of a non-operational KSA steel company with over $600 million in debt, securing a 70% debt concession from lenders with unanimous approval

Leading the Financial Restructuring Procedure (FRP) for an industrial equipment distributor in KSA under the KSA Bankruptcy Law, resulting in a successful 97% creditor approval (far above required thresholds)

Advising on the lender-side restructuring of $800 million in debt for a UAE real estate government-related entity, securing unanimous approval from all 33 lenders
