Associate Managing Director

Eric Hasty is Associate Managing Director in the Cyber and Data Resilience business, based in Chicago. As part of Kroll's Cybersecurity Advisory team, he enables clients to navigate organizational changes driven by transactions.

Prior to joining Kroll, Eric served as Senior Manager in EY's Cybersecurity practice where he delivered a wide range of strategic advisory and transformation services to clients across multiple industries. Eric also held a leadership role for EY's Cybersecurity practice, serving the PE sector by developing service architecture and advising funds and portfolio companies regarding risk, strategy and separations/integrations. Before that, he was a cybersecurity consultant at PwC where he focused on operational technology and industrial control systems security.

Eric has extensive experience of supporting outcome-driven cybersecurity initiatives for global, multinational clients in the PE, financial services, health care, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, distribution and consumer goods industries. He has served as a subject matter expert and adviser to clients on aspects such as cybersecurity strategy / transformation, enterprise cybersecurity governance, cybersecurity risk management and risk assessment, incident readiness and operational technology / industrial control systems security.

Eric is a versatile information security practitioner with a diverse background of cross-industry knowledge and a deep commitment to helping clients address complex information security challenges.

Eric holds an M.S. in information systems and a B.S. in informatics from Indiana University and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
